Group Menus

The group menus are based on local food and Northern Ostrobothnian cuisine which are the cornerstones of the Tavern kitchen.
The menus have to be ordered in advance. We ask you to give your choice of menus at least a week before your event unless otherwise agreed. Choices for main course should be notified some three days before your event.
If these menu suggestions do not suit your plans we are happy to plan you more alternative menus according to your wishes.

The price includes oven fresh bread rolls, herb spread and ice water.

  • Oulu fish appetizer; raw cured salmon, raw cured whitefish and onion herrings,
    summer potatoes and dill smetana.
  • Roasted elk tenderloin, creamy false morel stew, cranberry sauce, cranberry jelly, oven root vegetables and kohlrabi potatoes.

  • Raw cured whitefish tartar; raw cured whitefish, onion and smetana on dark bread, whitefish roe, grandma’s cucumber
  • Reindeer tenderloin baked in the oven, dark juniper berry sauce, rowanberry jelly, oven root vegetables and kohlrabi potatoes or

    Arctic char baked in butter, false morel sauce, steamed root vegetables and chive potatoes
